At the Bucks girls awards presentation, Chenies girls picked up 4 awards

A landmark year for girls cricket at Chenies & Latimer has seen the successful launch of our first girls team, several of our girls representing the county and now 4 of those girls have been recognised for their performances at county level with awards.
In the U11 development squad, Caitlin Walker won the fielding award for many fantastic fielding performances throughout the season and Sophia Davies was named the most improved player for her improvement across all facets of the game.
In the U11 county squad Amelia Peck was the leading run scorer across the season and duly won the batting award and Emily Brown won the bowling award for finishing the season as leading wicket taker.
Girls cricket at Chenies is clearly on the up so we look forward to hearing about many more successes in 2017.
