Quartz Scientific and Dr Hargreaves are very proud to be supporting a local cricket club encouraging health and wellbeing amongst the local community of Chenies.

Quartz Scientific, part of the 4-Rail Services group of limited companies, have been providing chemical analysis and consultancy to the construction industry since 1991, and have recently relocated to a bigger and modern laboratory in St Albans. Tests include chemical analysis of concrete, mortar, render, screed and aggregate. Since initial UKAS accreditation in 1995, Quartz has successfully strengthened its accredited scope of services which now includes tests for paint, gypsum plasters, water for concrete and more!. Technological advances in the industry continue to make demands on the analysis of samples and interpretation of results. Simon Hargreaves, a Director of 4-Rail Services Limited is closely involved with the club. His 3 children all play in the colts (Aemelia U15 Girls, Luke U11 & U12Bs and Venessa U11 Girls) and Simon coaches the U13 Girls and the U11s.
