On Friday 11th October, 13 golfers turned up at Chorleywood Golf club for the 2nd annual C&LCC Golf Day. An organisational triumph ensured that we had a glorious autumnal day for it.

In the individual stableford competition, there was some excellent scoring, although somewhat down on the prior year. In 3rd place on 34 points was Shaun Mills, pipped to the runner-up spot on count back by Richard Parker, and the winner with 35 points was Ian Gilmour.

The longest drive prize was won by Greg Campbell and the nearest the pin was won by John Davies.

In the team competition the runners up were Alex Martin, Tom Horsburgh and Mattie Brown but the winners, and recipients of the fantastic John Campbell trophy, were Ian Gilmour, Darren Dodd, Shaun Mills and Richard Parker.

A fantastic day was enjoyed by all – thankyou to Chorleywood Golf Club for hosting so well.

Hopefully in 2025 we can build upon this year’s success and grow the number of participants.
