Work behind the scenes is gathering pace to ready the club for the 2023 season, and our lovely ground and pavilion are in need of some TLC to spruce them up.

Traditionally, we run a working party on 1 or 2 days in April so we can gather at the club and collectively tackle the jobs that need doing. In recent years attendance at these events has diminished and as a consequence, the list of jobs is now very long, and includes a number of tasks that must be completed to allow cricket to take place.

We therefore appeal to ALL members, parents and supporters to give up a couple of hours on one (or both) of the days. Many hands really do make light work so please do your bit and come along to help.

The working parties will take place on Saturday 1st April (10am-3pm) and Monday 10th April (Easter Monday – 10am-4pm). If these dates are not convenient for you then please keep reading…

If you cannot make either date then there is still a way in which you can help – take a look at the list of jobs in the attached document and identify a job or 2 that you could do at a time convenient to yourself and then go and do it. All we ask is that you get in touch with the owner of the job who will ensure jobs are not duplicated and arrange for any equipment or materials you may need.
