With all matches now finished, leaves cascading from the trees, nights closing in and temperatures dipping the cricket season has well and truly concluded and with no cricket to report, there’ll be no weekly bulletin.

However, the club remains active so watch out for news articles on the website advertising various activities over the winter:

Senior Awards night will take place on October 19th. There will be separate communication shortly but in the meantime please put the date in your diaries.

2 November – Bonfire Night. This is the single biggest fundraiser of the year. Please do make some time to help out either at the event itself or in the run up to the event. There is lots to do and it falls to the same few people every year – please help out to make it easier for everyone. Look out for further details in due course.

18 January – AGM

1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th March – Winter nets at Dr Challoners Grammar School.

Finally, good luck to the C&LCC golfers; Darrell Lewis, John Campbell, Ian Gilmour and Dave Brown who will be representing the club in the Chorleywood Golf Club Community Challenge on Sun 13th October.
